The Armadillo is the most powerful Telecaster set in the Asyllum Pickups range. If you want a warm, muscular voice with unmistakable Texas character, this is the set for you.

Its attack is biting and incisive, yet the overall response remains vintage and well balanced. Adjust your amplifier and it moves easily from clear, articulate sounds to fat, rounded drive, with a surprising hint of P90 character.

The pickups are wax potted and fitted with vintage-style braided cotton leads. Please select a separate cover ground wire if your wiring uses a four- or five-way switch. RWRP and non-RWRP configurations are available.

Every set is built to order. Before winding your pickups, I may contact you to confirm model-specific choices such as RWRP wiring or wax potting. This personal setup service is included at no extra cost.
