The WildThing is designed for players who want an authentic P90 voice in a guitar routed for humbuckers, with no additional woodwork required.
 
Most humbucker-sized P90s use conventional humbucker bobbins. Because a true P90 coil is wider and longer, I developed custom bobbins that make better use of the available winding space and preserve the characteristic P90 response.
 
Based on the P90 Alchemy, the WildThing delivers greater output, tight bass and an assertive yet clear voice suited to harder rock styles. The neck and bridge pickups are carefully balanced for warmth, definition and organic dynamics.
 
Supplied unpotted by default for a more open response, with vintage-style braided ground leads.
 
Every set is built to order. Before winding your pickups, I may contact you to confirm model-specific choices such as RWRP wiring or wax potting. This personal setup service is included at no extra cost.
 
DC resistance: Neck 7.50kΩ, Bridge 8.00kΩ.
