The HotRod is the higher-output version of the Asyllum Pickups Deluxe mini humbucker. It retains excellent dynamics and articulation while delivering the extra drive needed for higher-gain settings.

Expect a tight, controlled response, strong note definition and sparkling harmonics. Plain-enamel wire and Alnico 5 magnets give the set an energetic voice without sacrificing clarity.

These pickups are supplied unpotted by default for a more open response. Vintage-style braided ground leads are used.

Every set is built to order. Before winding your pickups, I may contact you to confirm model-specific choices such as RWRP wiring or wax potting. This personal setup service is included at no extra cost.
