The Granite belongs to the Black Dog family at the heart of the Asyllum Pickups humbucker range. Its medium output and vintage PAF-inspired voice combine punch, warmth and clarity, making it equally comfortable with clean sounds or deeper gain.
 
A warm Alnico 2 neck pickup and tighter Alnico 5 bridge pickup produce focused lows, moderate mids and excellent articulation. The neck remains clear enough for jazz while the bridge has the authority required for blues and rock.
 
If you need one versatile set to cover a broad range of styles, the Granite is a natural choice. It is supplied unpotted by default and uses vintage-style braided ground leads.
 
Every set is built to order. Before winding your pickups, I may contact you to confirm model-specific choices such as RWRP wiring or wax potting. This personal setup service is included at no extra cost.
